Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide professional, comprehensive, results-oriented personal training sessions.
- Conduct consultations, movement screenings, and baseline assessments.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Encourage and motivate participants in a positive way.
- Have a professional working knowledge of human anatomy, the concepts of functional exercise, basic nutrition, and the fundamental principles of exercise science.
- Be dependable, manage time and client schedules responsibly.
- Participate in special events & promotions as needed. Be knowledgeable of and promote all facility programs and activities.
- Ability to also design and conduct small group personal training classes preferred.
- Current personal training certification from a nationally accredited organization (NSCA, ACE, NASM, ACSM, etc.)
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Passionate about health, fitness and helping others.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Preferred candidates will have at least one year of personal training experience and/or a degree in a field related to the Exercise Sciences
- Set your own schedule (up to 30 hours/week).
- Afternoon, evening, and weekend availability is in high demand.

Due to the nature of a government providing services to the public all duties of this position are required to be fulfilled at the designated worksite in the town. No remote work is available.
